FGSL holds final registration and skills clinic

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Girls Softball League (FGSL) will hold its final registration along with a players’ clinic on Saturday, January 24, at the Fallbrook High School varsity field from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

All girls between the ages of 5 and 14 are welcome and no previous playing experience is necessary.

Doc Balderama, a respected regional coach, will conduct the clinic.

The clinic cost is $10 and will cover hitting, fielding and pitching.

6U and 8U players are from 12 to 1 p.m., 10U and above from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Players should bring water, gloves, helmets and someone to catch for them. Coaches and parents are welcome. Coaches may want to bring a notepad to capture Doc’s drills.

Parents can also register their daughters during normal business hours at Fallbrook Sports located at 205 North Main Avenue.
