Maxwell and Kenyan orphan to speak in Fallbrook

FALLBROOOK- On both Saturday night, January 31, and and Sunday morning, February 1, Janine Maxwell, author of “It’s Not Okay With Me” and David Keriuke will be speaking at Christ The King Lutheran Church.

Janine traveled to Kenya in 2004 and saw the orphans and widows living with little to no food. On her return to Canada, her and her husband traded a multi-million dollar marketing business for a life of missionary work.

Upon her work in Kenya she met an orphan who had been on the streets for eight years, his name is David Keriuke.

On Saturday night at 6 p.m. they will be speaking at a fundraising event at Christ The King Lutheran Church to help send Fallbrook High School students to work in Kenya. The dinner cost is $20.

On Sunday, February 1, they will be speaking at both the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services. Both of these events are at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Fallbrook.

Come and hear the stories of struggle and starvation, as well as the stories of service and miracles. Contact Brandon Way if you have questions about the events or if you’re interested in working in Kenya for a short term missions trip at (760) 212-7321.
