School vacation day camp Feb. 12-13

FALLBROOK — There will be no bored kids at the Fallbrook Community Center February 12-13, when day camp is in session for boys and girls ages 6 to 12.

Each day is planned to include sports, games, arts and crafts, movies and special activities, including game room tournaments, panning for gold, scavenger hunts and learning a few silly things about past presidents.

Kids need to bring a morning snack, sack lunch and drink and be sure to wear comfortable, washable play clothes.

Day camp meets from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in room 61 at La Paloma Elementary School. College trained staff provide leadership at a ratio of 1 to twelve.

The fee per child is $18 per day.

For more information about vacation day camp, or to register with a credit card, contact the Fallbrook Community Center at (760) 728-1671. To register in person, visit the center office at 341 Heald Lane Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Because camp size is limited, parents should register in advance.
