Budding with romance at Abigail's Flower Company

Why not treat your sweetheart to a lovely bouquet of flowers from Abigail’s Flower Company this Valentine’s Day?

The owner of this family-operated business, Madonna Wilson, has happily served her clientele for more than five years while establishing an impressive reputation.

Being that floral arrangements are the most sought-after gift for Valentine’s Day, Wilson has some wonderful ideas for this romantic occasion.

“We can do any kind of floral arrangements, including a bouquet of traditional red roses,” she said.

The nice thing about roses, explained Wilson, is that they come in a variety of vibrant colors, not to mention sublime fragrances, so mixing various colors together is not considered a “rose faux pas.”

“We have hot pink and purple roses that are really pretty,” said Wilson. Mixing this color combination is sure to please that special someone.

The quality of roses at Abigail’s is something to behold and prices are competitive.

“We have the best quality of roses that I can find and I only buy Ecuadorian roses,” Wilson said. “I have had people tell me that the roses they got from us have lasted up to two weeks.”

If your sweetie prefers something other than roses, Wilson can create a unique floral gift.

A spray of wildflowers consisting of sunflowers and Monte Casino asters will give the impression that they were personally picked in the countryside.

And for some, it just wouldn’t be a true Valentine’s Day without chocolates.

At Abigail’s, visitors will find Bodega Chocolate Truffles, a company that has become known for their presence at the Academy Awards, Grammy Awards, Golden Globes and many other star-studded events.

An inventory of cute teddy bears is on standby for Valentine’s Day as well.

“We’ve even had people bring us plane tickets and jewelry to put with the flowers,” said Wilson.

Inside Abigail’s stands a wonderful gift shop with items that pair nicely with any floral arrangement.

These special home décor items include Trapp candles, painted glass vases, boxes and picture frames.

Real roses that have been dipped and preserved in 24-karat gold are another lovely keepsake, said Wilson.

And if by chance a wedding proposal is accepted on Valentine’s Day, Abigail’s is happy to step in and help plan wedding flower necessities.

“The fun part of weddings is helping the bride pick out her bouquet, church, reception and centerpiece floral arrangements,” said Wilson. From start to finish, she helps the bride at every turn.

Abigail’s is a full-service flower shop for all occasions, including parties, special occasions and funerals.

“We also use Teleflora and can send flowers all over the country and around the world,” Wilson said.

And despite whatever floral occasion there might be, Wilson has learned to treat her clientele as family. “One of the most important things to us is customer service,” added Wilson.

Delighted to be involved in the community, Abigail’s remains a sponsor of Fallbrook Hospital’s Healthy Woman Program and is a member of both the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce and Historic Downtown Merchant’s Association.
