Writers Read to feature slam poet

FALLBROOK — Slam poet Chris Vannoy will be the featured writer at Fallbrook’s Writers Read free monthly reading on Wednesday, February 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Café des Artistes.

Vannoy’s reading will be followed by questions and answers with the author and then an open mic session for anyone with poetry or creative prose to share.

Vannoy is a San Diego-based performance poet and co-author of “Twenty Poems Against Love,” a collection of poems and photographs.

Café des Artistes, at 103 South Main, will open for the reading at 5:30 p.m. with a special supper menu available.
