A free lunch

One of the best lessons you can teach your children is that there is no such thing as a free lunch. Too bad the local children will not be learning this lesson at school.

Interesting how the country, state, county, schools and many individuals are bankrupt, yet the schools give out free lunches. A simple lesson in economics is another lesson the children are not receiving.

Children should be learning a free lunch is really not at all free. Teach your children that these lunches are paid for by the tax dollars of American workers.

Does a free lunch teach gratitude, thankfulness or self-sufficiency? Does it teach children to expect programs to take care of their basic needs?

The real life lessons children learn will stick with them through adulthood. What kind of adults do you want your children to grow up to be? Expecting a free lunch? You pick.
