County sets March 4 hearing to vacate Hidden Hills easements

On March 4 the San Diego County Board of Supervisors will hold a hearing to vacate three open space easements in Bonsall totaling 62.15 acres along with a 0.51-acre development restriction easement.

The supervisors’ 5-0 vote January 28 set the hearing date and authorized public notice of the hearing.

The property is currently owned by ADJ Holdings, LLC, and was once part of the planned Hidden Hills subdivision.

The easements are located between Dentro de Lomas Road, Little Gopher Canyon Road and Old River Road.

They were dedicated as biological open space and as a limited building zone as conditions of approval of the Hidden Hills tentative map, which proposed a subdivision of 53 lots on 131 acres.

The tentative map expired on March 28, 2004, so no final map will be recorded for that subdivision plan and the project will not be developed.
