The next meeting of the Santa Margarita Sierra Club will be February 17 at 7 p.m. at the Rancho California Water District headquarters. They will discuss the controversial Sunrise Powerlink Energy Project.
The guest speaker will be Bill Powers, expert on this subject and author of “San Diego’s Smart 20/20 Plan.”
The club will also show a documentary on the Sunrise Powerlink and its potential consequences. They will also be discussing their upcoming outings.
The water district is at 42135 Winchester Road in Temecula (off I-15, take Winchester exit west. Cross Jefferson; cross Diaz....
