FALLBROOK — Hank Strause, an Oceanside artist with a flair for the unusual, even whimsical, brings his work to Brandon Gallery starting March 3 and running through the end of the month.

Strause’s 15-piece exhibition showcases multidimensional art ranging from clay sculptures and wood and glass pieces to hanging illustrations, all with a humorous touch.

Well-known for his animated vegetable sculptures, Strause has exhibited widely throughout the region, garnering awards and critical acclaim for his offbeat approach to fine art.
