Fundraiser for injured friend

Antarctic explorer Sunniva Sorby, a Fallbrook resident, has organized a fundraiser to benefit her longtime friend and former Adventure 16, Inc. coworker Teresa Hukari, who was severely injured in a skiing accident.

The fundraiser is Saturday, March 14, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hilltop Center located at 331 East Elder Street. The event will include a live auction, plenty of raffle prizes, performances by award-winning singer/songwriter Deborah Liv Johnson and jazz great Barnaby Finch and words of inspiration by Dr. Ken Druck with Del Breckenfeld as emcee.

Suggested donation is $20 with all proceeds benefiting Hukari.
