Gloria Yvonne Berkstresser quietly left home and tiptoed into heaven on Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Born June 16, 1927, in Saskatchewan to Phillip and Antoinette Cossette, she was married to Kenneth Berkstresser for 63 years. Having resided in Whittier for half their married life, the couple found Fallbrook fit their perfect retirement criteria and they spent a happy 26 years here.

Gloria was known by all she came in contact with as a beautiful, gracious lady; her friends are myriad. She was active in the Encore Club and especially cherished the Sew and Such ladies. The Senior Center was t...
