FAA art show call for entries

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Art Association (FAA) has put out a call for entries for its Open Juried Show of Fine Art, to be held at the Fallbrook Art Center, 103 South Main, from Friday, March 27, through Saturday, April 11. A reception will be held March 27 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Artworks will be featured in the following general categories: oil and acrylic, watermedia, drawing and pastel, plein air, mixed media and fiber art, photography, sculpture, printmaking and computer-generated.

Entries will be accepted on March 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Up to three pieces may be submitted by each artist. Since this is a juried show, not all artwork will be accepted into the show.

Cash prizes will be awarded for the categories described above. The juror for the show will be Martin Betz.

Daily hours for the show will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will end April 11 at 3 p.m.

For further information about the show or for a membership application, visit the FAA Web site at http://www.fallbrookartassn.org or contact Jon Harwood, show chairperson, at (760) 728-0453.
