FALLBROOK — For the last 20 years Ahrend Studios has been sponsoring the Cute Kids Contest. This year, for the first time, they are teaming up with other great businesses in the community for more contest winners, more prizes and more fun!
On May 21, photographs of each entrant will appear in the Village News and at sponsoring business locations along with a voter’s ballot which will allow family, friends and neighbors to vote for their favorite “Cute Kid” in each of the four age categories.
One grand prize winner will be named, along with three winners from each age group.
Members of the community who wish to vote can drop their ballots off at Ahrend Studios or at any of the sponsor locations listed below between May 21 and May 29.
Winners will be posted in the Village News and in the display window at Ahrend Studios on June 4. All ballots received will automatically be entered in a drawing, qualifying the voter to receive a $100 gift certificate from Ahrend Studios.
Children from newborn to 10 years of age are eligible to enter. Each entry fee of $34.95 includes an indoor portrait session fee at Ahrend Studios, a participant’s trophy, six 4”x6” proof portraits and a 20-percent discount on all additional prints.

The grand prize winner will receive a $150 gift certificate from Ahrend Studios which may be used for a family portrait or any other service or product offered. Swirlz owner Belle Moran will be selecting one winner in each category for a special “Sweetest Smile” prize and Tiffany and Jessica of Sweet ’n Sassy will be selecting their “Sassiest” favorite in each age group.
Additional gift certificates and prizes for winners in each of the categories will be provided by sponsors Ahrend Studios, Sweet ’n Sassy Children’s Clothing, Swirlz Candy & Party Emporium, Kramer’s ATA Black Belt Academy in Bonsall, the Yogurt Palace and the Village News.
