Reche Club hosts second annual Gvwi Spring Offering

Gvwi Music will present the second annual Gvwi Spring Offering featuring Eric Ray, Allie Gator Ray and Daniel U. Ray in one performance on Saturday, April 4, at 2 p.m. at the Reche School, 1319 South Live Oak Park Road. There is limited seating with a $10 donation requested per person.

Eric Ray brings a fresh, imaginative and powerful performance to an ancient musical instrument known as the Native American flute which dates back more than 60,000 years. The music, while influenced by R. Carlos Nakai, Coyote Oldman and Arvel Bird, is a mixture of Native American, Celtic, old time and alternative rock.

This unique style is Gvwi. While some songs may be meditative to the soul, others will make listeners want to get up and dance. There will be a pre-show musical by Allie Gator Ray and Daniel U. Ray, two amazing young musicians. Refreshments will be served.

Call (760) 728-3670 or (760) 728-7078 for reservations or mail checks to Reche Community Club, PO Box 341, Fallbrook, CA 92088. These donations will aid the Reche Club in maintaining the Reche School, a historical landmark from 1896.
