National Charity League offers college scholarships

FALLBROOK — The San Luis Rey Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. (NCL) is offering its annual college scholarships to senior girls (who are not members of NCL) graduating from the Fallbrook Union High School District.

Senior girls who are eligible must be college-bound to an accredited four-year university, two-year community college or vocational school.

The NCL Ann Daniel Memorial Scholarships will be awarded based on community service; school and work activities; financial need; letter of recommendation; personal essay; grade point average (minimum 2.0); and interview with scholarship committee.

Completed applications are due in the FHS Career Center by April 20. Recipients will be announced at the FHS Awards Ceremony in June.
