Fallbrook residents Sue and Frank Thorne display a copy of the Village News in front of An Den 12 Uhren, a 300-year-old guesthouse in Leichlingen, Germany, where they visited with host and chef Anselm Gross and Dumga the German shepherd. The Thornes made the trip to Germany in February for Karneval.
