Caroline Mary Ludwig

Caroline Mary Ludwig took her first breath of life April 11, 1924. Caroline Mary Badger breathed her final breath March 17, 2009. For those who love Carol, this day is precious now. About 7 a.m. Tuesday she was peacefully awakened in a place forever new. Heaven’s delights now surround her as she finds herself in the presence of the Lord. For true, real life begins as spirit leaves body; she has gone home.

Her husband Everett and her two daughters, Linda Carol and Pat Lynn, were with her as she departed. Son Bruce Alan was earlier in a traffic accident and is already with the Lord.

Their family count is now three children, nine grands and nine great-grands. Her sister, Shirley Jean Besser, who lives in Matthews, NC, also survives Carol.

Carol’s family and many friends will miss her. She will never be forgotten, for she will ever be in their hearts. They know they are all the better for having loved and been loved by Carol. She has taken part of their hearts with her and they look forward to their own time of reunion with Carol when the Lord is ready.

A funeral service was held on March 21 at Christ the King Lutheran Church.
