Take a trip to the Rockies this summer

The Fallbrook Senior Center will visit Colorado and the Rocky Mountains August 23-29. The Garden of the Gods, US Air Force Academy and Royal Gorge are a few of the incredible places the group will tour and experience on the trip.

This would be a great educational trip for one’s older grandchildren. Each traveler will receive a goody bag with snacks and fruit. On the bus, travelers will play Bingo with prizes and see movies. Cold water will be available at all times.

A $75 deposit is due on signing with final payment due on June 7. The cost is $545 for double occupancy, $740 for single. Travel/trip insurance is available and recommended.

For those who want to travel sooner and not so far, the Senior Center will be going to Laughlin on a three-day, two-night trip scheduled for May 18-20. They will stay at the Riverside Hotel, where they have Bingo, an old car museum and a theater with the latest films.

Freebies include three buffets at the hotel, a room for two nights and a fun book. On the bus they will play Bingo with prizes, watch movies and enjoy jokes, water and a snack. Cost is $100 single and $82 per person double occupancy. Seats will be assigned as payment is made. No refunds or cancellations after May 1 unless a replacement is arranged.

To reserve for either trip or for more information, call the Senior Center at (760) 728-4498, Miyo at (760) 728-6537 or Dee at (760) 723-7469.
