Democratic Club meets April 2

The Fallbrook Democratic Club will hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday, April 2, at the Fallbrook Public Utilities District (FPUD) board meeting room at 7 p.m.

Labor organizer German Ramirez of UFCW Local 135 will speak on labor organizations. The club will discuss how labor unions gained their great strength out of necessity during the Great Depression and for decades protected American workers from the excesses of greed and abuse.

FPUD is at 990 East Mission Road, at the intersection of Santa Margarita Drive. The public is cordially invited.
