Zion Lutheran School sends team to run cross-country

FALLBROOK — Zion Lutheran School’s third through eighth grade students, under the supervision and guidance of physical education teachers Greg Carle and LaDorna Bunt, participated in the annual Lutheran Schools Cross Country Meet. The event was held at Lake Chollas Park in San Diego on March 5.

The cross-country team’s youthful enthusiasm and energy was put to the test and they passed with flying colors. Winning first place in their grades’ races were fourth-grader Sarena Sargent, sixth-grader Eric Kuhlmann, seventh-grader Leila Rohde and eighth-grader Monica Robinson.
