AAUW presents women in motion

FALLBROOK — “Women in Motion” will be the theme of the April general meeting of the Fallbrook Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).

A depiction of prominent American women of the past and present will be presented by members of the organization and several students enrolled in the AVID program at Fallbrook High School.

Highlighted will be Eleanor Roosevelt, Susan B. Anthony, Harriet Tubman, Sandra Day O’Connor, Amelia Earhart, Barbara McClintock and Dolores Huerta and their historic roles in the continuing struggle of women to gain equality and justice in society.

This meeting is open to the general public and will be held Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to noon at Zion Lutheran Church, 1405 East Fallbrook Street. AAUW will provide refreshments. For further information, call (760) 522-7481.
