Tolley to lecture, teach workshop

FALLBROOK — Fallbrook artists can learn from one of the most successful contemporary female artists at a lecture on April 19 from 1 to 3 p.m. and during a five-day workshop at the Fallbrook School of the Arts April 20-24. Elizabeth (Libby) Tolley is best known for her beautiful oil landscapes.

Tolley lives on the central California coast and paints in the style of the old plein air painters. She holds numerous awards, has appeared in prestigious shows and publications and is widely collected. She is also the author of “Oil Painters Solution Book: Landscapes.” She selects only a few locations each year for workshops.

Open to all, lecture cost will be $30 for non-workshop participants and free to those enrolled in the workshop. To reserve a spot, call (760) 728-6383.
