Fourth annual Paws in the Park is family dog fair

A day of fun is planned for dog lovers and their best dog friends at the fourth annual Ruth Redmann Paws in the Park Dog Fair Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Live Oak Park.

The community is invited to browse the vendor booths, watch a variety of demonstrations, bid on specialty items in the silent auction, feast on mouthwatering food prepared by Prime Time Barbecue and participate in the dog show events, where prizes will be awarded in a number of categories.

Awards will be presented by Fallbrook Honorary Mayor Rebecca Waranch, Bonsall Honorary Mayor Seth Essenfeld and a few surprise guests.

Registration is required for all dog show events and participants must be over the age of 18. Pre-registration is encouraged; registration and collection of fees will begin at 9 that morning. Cost is only $3 per event.

Proceeds will be used to support the Foundation for Senior Care’s three core programs: the Care Van, Care Advocacy and Senior Day Care Center.

To pre-register, pet owners may call the Foundation office at (760) 723-7713 or visit http://www.foundationforseniorcare.org and click on the Paws in the Park link to download a registration form.

Anyone interested in participating as a sponsor or vendor should contact Morgan Cadmus at (760)723-7713 by April 10.

The Fallbrook Healthcare Foundation is a nonprofit organization doing business as the Foundation for Senior Care.
