Athletes encourage students to stay in school

CAMP PENDLETON — Mary Fay Pendleton School recently welcomed former NFL players Keith Davis and Clarence Lee, who spoke to intermediate students about staying in school and making good choices.

They included some incredible strength challenges, such as Lee doing pushups with a Marine on his back, picking up a bar with two girls on the ends and spinning them and Davis bending the same bar with his teeth!

Both men explained what a good education meant to them; Lee graduated from Florida State University with a double major in math and business and Davis graduated from USC with the highest GPA on the football team in business management. They were a wonderful inspiration for a successful start of the school year.
