FALLBROOK — Fallbrook’s Writers Read, a free monthly gathering of writers and readers, will feature poet and musician John Amen on Wednesday, October 7, at 6 p.m. The reading is followed by open mic.

Amen is on a national tour promoting his new collection of poetry, “At the Threshold of Alchemy,” released from Presa this year.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend and to read their original poetry, short fiction and creative nonfiction during the open mic session.
