Fall Festival of Gems coming Oct. 4

FALLBROOK — Members of the Fallbrook Gem & Mineral Society (FGMS) are preparing for the Fall Festival of Gems, the club’s annual show and sale.

On October 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., many vendors will be lining the street between Main and Alvarado with a wide assortment of minerals, fossils, jewelry and meteorites for sale.

FGMS will also have a large tent with minerals for sale, wheel of fortune, geode cracking and gem identification. In addition, the museum and gift shop will be open. Raffle items are as usual, very fine quality items. In the club room there will be ongoing silent auctions.
