Energy conservation topic of La Paloma ASES Program

FALLBROOK — The ASES After School Program is taking steps to educate students on energy awareness and conservation this year by inviting the Flex Your Power organization to give a presentation to the students.

Flex Your Power visited La Paloma’s after-school program on Wednesday, September 9, and gave an interactive presentation on the simple steps they can take at home to save energy, money and the environment.

All students who attended the presentation received handouts of energy-efficient habits, a beach ball and a sticker with the Flex Your Power logo.

With more than 100 students attending the ASES program on a daily basis, the program hopes to impact the students and their families in a positive, easy and environmentally friendly way to help keep Fallbrook energy-smart.

The presentation was 20 minutes of questions and answers, interactive games and prizes which educated the youth while keeping them interested and entertained.
