FALLBROOK — At a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook, two Potter Jr. High School students were honored for their achievements. The theme of the meeting was “organization.”

Potter Principal Dr. Tere Peterson introduced Mariah Zizzo and Emil Lundquist to the Rotarians.

Of Mariah, Peterson said, “She demonstrates organization by keeping her belongings and supplies neat and clean in her bag, which allows her to be prepared quickly and use her time in class for learning instead of locating supplies.”

In speaking of Emil, Peterson said, “Emil is very prompt with all his assignments and well organized. He is proactive with organization and his excellent grades reflect this.”

Club services director Dr. Doug Clements presented the students with certificates of achievement for their efforts.

Peterson is a member of the Fallbrook Village Rotary Club. The Student-of-the-Month program is an ongoing effort by Fallbrook Rotary to promote, recognize and reward effort and excellence in the school system.
