FWC, Girl Scouts unite to clean Main

FALLBROOK — Members of the Fallbrook Woman’s Club were joined on Saturday, October 17, by members of Girl Scout Troop #4630 and their leader, Pamela Lambert, to clean up two miles of Main Avenue as part of the club’s ongoing Adopt-a-Road program with San Diego County.

Girl Scout Troop #7, led by Eileen Dupont, will alternate monthly in the cleanup effort. Troop #7 was originally White Rose Troop #1, established by the Fallbrook Woman’s Club in 1917 and the first Girl Scout troop west of the Rockies.
