Fallbrook students score well on PSAT

FALLBROOK — Several Fallbrook High School students have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program for their high PSAT scores.

Edward Casey has been named a National Merit Scholarship semifinalist, one of 16,000 students across the nation who were the highest-scoring students on their PSAT exam in the junior year. Casey is in the top one percent of students across the nation in PSAT scores.

Donald Dawkins has been awarded the “Outstanding Participant” recognition in the National Achievement Scholarship Program. He is ranked amongst the top three percent of more than 160,000 Black Americans who took the PSAT test last year.

The National Merit Scholarship Program has also recognized “Commended Students” Casey Doherty, Natalie Gasca, Luellyn Grantham, Luke Jones, Michael Kennedy and Ross Newman for demonstrating exceptional academic promise on the PSAT exam.
