We appreciate Los Jilgueros

Our family is so pleased to have the Los Jilgueros Preserve available for both fitness walks and pleasant strolls, so it is good to read that it will become an even more special place thanks to the folks in the Fallbrook Land Conservancy’s plans for the new plantings and the contingent improvements.

But we do wonder if those in charge are aware of the extracurricular activities that apparently take place after hours in the preserve. If not, they will soon find out when they spread out away from the appointed paths and see areas of graffiti and condom wrappers damaging the landscape. This was a sad bit of ‘decorating’ to accidentally come across.
