'Art of Firescaping' at Southwest Boulder

RAINBOW — A free workshop will be presented at Southwest Boulder & Stone, in conjunction with local expert Roger Boddaert, on Saturday, November 21, beginning at 10 a.m.

Attendees will learn how to be ‘firewise’ and incorporate items into their landscape that will better protect the home in the event of wildfire.

The workshop will highlight ways homeowners can maintain a beautiful landscape while simultaneously creating a defensible space to deter the threat of wildfires.

Speakers will include experts from North County Fire Protection District, CERT, San Diego Urban Forest Council and the Fallbrook Fire Safe Council.
