Littell receives PHF +6 pin

FALLBROOK — Joseph F. Littell, a member of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook since December 1998, was awarded his Paul Harris Fellow +6 pin at a recent club meeting. Making the presentation was Fallbrook Rotary International Director Connie Fish.

Paul Harris was the founder of Rotary. The Paul Harris Award is given to individuals who contribute $1,000 to the foundation.

For each additional $1,000 contribution, they are awarded a pin noting the number of such contributions they have made. The funds are used for many international projects, the most significant being the eradication of polio.

Other such funding goes to projects such as digging a well for a village or providing capital for an individual to start a small, life-sustaining business. For more information, see http://www.rotary.org.
