FALLBROOK - Fallbrook’s Writers Read, a monthly gathering of writers and readers, will feature Southern California-based, award-winning author Jan Burke at a December 8 reading at 6 p.m. Burke, whose parents live in Fallbrook, will read from her recently published supernatural thriller, The Messenger, and from her Irene Kelly crime novel series.

After her reading, Burke will take questions from the audience. Her books will also be available for purchase and signing by the author. The Q&A will be followed by open mic for poetry and prose.
