FALLBROOK — Thanksgiving and Christmas is a time to be thankful for many things, including the enlisted men and women of the military who are away from their loved ones during the holiday season.

At Joe’s Hardware, Christmas is red, white and blue this year as customers and employees are asked to support the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society by donating a blue ($10), red ($5) or white ($1) star to the store’s Christmas tree.

In addition, for each Joe’s Hardware gift card sold now through Christmas Day, the store will donate 10 percent of the amount to the society.
