Supervisors approve synthetic turf change for Clemmens Lane Park

The County of San Diego will spend an additional $40,000 on the construction of Clemmens Lane Park in order to convert the planned grass soccer field to a synthetic turf field.

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 on October 21 to approve a construction change order. The supervisors also appropriated the additional $40,000 from the Fallbrook Park Land Dedication Ordinance (PLDO) fund. PLDO fees are paid by developers to fund park facilities in the development’s community.
