Dinner with the Docs draws a crowd

VISTA - A packed house of 200 guests filled Vista Valley Country Club on Saturday evening, November 14, as the Foundation for Senior Care held its annual Dinner with the Docs gala and fundraiser. The evening began with cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres, giving guests an opportunity to mingle with 27 of Fallbrook’s finest physicians and bid on the foundation’s featured silent auction items, many of which were graciously donated by local merchants in the community.

Master of Ceremonies Bob Tavano hosted a seamless program as he thanked physician’s partner, Silvergate Retirement Residence, for inviting all 27 physicians to attend the fundraiser. A deliciously prepared three-course dinner by Vista Valley Country Club followed the introduction of the event’s platinum sponsors, Fallbrook Pharmacy, Graybill Medical, Regal Medical Group and Regency Fallbrook.

The event’s program included the introduction of foundation president Jack Rockwell and an award of recognition to Dr. Rafael Rosado for his instrumental role in implementing the annual Dinner with the Docs.

Guests then enjoyed an evening of music with a variety of show tunes performed by professional pianist and vocalist Jackson Borges and soprano Callie Humphreville. The Foundation for Senior Care’s annual Dinner with the Docs was a big success, raising much needed funds for the foundation’s three core programs; the Care Van, Senior Care Advocate, and Senior-Adult Day Care Center.
