Wellness Spa shares customers' favorite comments

FALLBROOK – The most frequent comment made by new guests and “regulars” spending time at the Fallbrook Wellness Spa (FWS) is, “Aahh, I feel better just walking through the door.”

“Wow! It’s so much bigger in here than it looks from the outside,” is the second most-heard comment from first timers, when given a tour of the facility.

Originally built as Watkins Bros. Livery Stable in 1881, the building now housing the Spa has seen many incarnations both as retail stores and living quarters. Fourteen years ago, the building was gutted again to become the day spa, with over 2,000 sq ft. of beautiful, serene space.

Both men and women of all ages visit for sessions; some stay for as short as a half hour, others staying for the entire day with packages that include food choices from any of the local restaurants.

Any guest is welcome to a complimentary sauna before or after their session. Private soak tubs are available and can accommodate two. Locker rooms with robes and showers make it easy if one is coming from work or going somewhere after. Treatments can even be scheduled around participation in one of the classes next door in the 600 sq. ft. yoga room.

With an emphasis on health, beauty and helping people live better lives, Fallbrook Wellness Spa is an organic spa and member of the Green Spa Network.

Being organic means the spa experience is healthier because toxins have been eliminated from products and the environment. Rather than using synthetically derived skin care products that may produce quicker results but also might cause long term damage, organic treatments help ensure better long term health and beauty benefits.

The therapists are well trained, professional, licensed and caring. All have guests who request them specifically because of the relationship that develops when a therapist gets to know someone’s body and how he or she uses it, what’s happening in their life, then customizes their sessions for the best results. New people are always welcome too, and the difference in the” before and after” can be remarkable to see and hear.

The FWS experience is ideal for those wishing to enjoy their rejuvenation privately as an individual, together as a couple, or as part of a small group with a special event or celebration in mind.

Men have discovered they enjoy spa services too – not only for themselves, but because it makes gift giving easy. They can even call ahead to have gift certificates ready for pickup! The beautiful gift certificates come in a pillow box with a big red ribbon.

FWS knows the economy has people wanting to find the best gift item that carries the most value. This season, gift certificates for half hour and hour sessions are $10 off; and adding a tub to that experience saves another $20.When customers need more than one gift; they can purchase five sessions and a sixth is added for free.

Because “Santa” needs to be taken care of too, any 60-minute session booked and used by the purchaser before Dec.31, 2009 can be upgraded free to a 90-minute session. All they have to do is ask (some restrictions apply).

What’s the third most frequent comment at the Fallbrook Wellness Spa?

“I don’t want to leave.”

When guests register with the FWS, they will get news on special offers, upcoming events and services. Next year, there will be free evenings classes planned with guest speakers, to educate and inform on many subjects.

Call (760) 723-8264 or visit 123 E. Alvarado St. and one of the helpful and friendly staff members will be happy to make this holiday a bit brighter.
