Day of Donating this Sunday

FALLBROOK – A ‘Day of Donating’ will be held Sunday, December 13, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grass area near Rainbow Oaks restaurant, 4815 5th Street.

Many worthy non-profit organizations will be on hand to accept donations and a bloodmobile will be on hand for those wishing to donating blood to help save a life.

Suggested items for donating include new unwrapped toys and white tube socks, clothing, blankets, backpacks and hats that are clean and in good condition. Non-perishable food items will be accepted for needy families. Children’s causes could use hand puppets and used musical instruments.

The Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary would appreciate donations of Friskies or Fancy Feast canned cat food, cat litter, cat toys, bleach, Clorox wipes, paper towels, bungee cords and garbage bags.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand, and a drawing for a Christmas tree will be held.
