Corinne Vidano Weeks, age 84, was born in Globe, Ariz., on March 30, 1925 and passed away in Fallbrook, Calif., on December 22, 2009. Corinne attended Northern Arizona University where she met her future husband, Vernon, and studied nursing at St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson. In 1948, she and Vernon married and lived in Los Angeles where they enjoyed square dancing. After retiring to Fallbrook, Corinne attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church and worked at the Fallbrook Food Pantry.
Corinne was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, and son, Larry. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah, and son-in-law Lou Donnelly; son Donald and daughter-in-law Jennifer; brother Jim Vidano and his wife, Marie; and cousin Jeanette Bowling and her husband, Bill. Her grandchildren are Andrew Donnelly, Nathan Donnelly, Matthew Donnelly, Ryan Weeks and Kenny Weeks.
Viewing and rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 8, at Berry-Bell & Hall. The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with burial at San Luis Rey Mission. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her favorite charity, Fallbrook Food Pantry, 1042 South Mission, Fallbrook, Calif., 92028.
