Ecumenical prayer service celebrates annual Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

FALLBROOK - St. Peter’s Council for Christian Unity is hosting an evening of prayer and unity to celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity on Wednesday, January 20 at 6:45 p.m. in St. Peter’s Hall. The panel will consist of members from several local Christian churches who will discuss the topic ‘What Does Christian Community Mean to Us?’

During the past century, reconciliation between Christians has taken on very different forms. Spiritual ecumenism has shown how important prayer is for Christian unity. As a result of cooperation between churches in the social field, prayer has given birth to many fruitful initiatives throughout the Christian world.

All Christians are invited to join in prayer, praise and discussion.
