FALLBROOK – Karen Ricci, career counselor at Fallbrook High School, has announced the appointment of Daniel Medina Ramos Jr. to the US Naval Academy.

“This program is highly competitive and prepares the best and brightest in our nation,” said Ricci.

Ramos will be sworn in on July 1, 2010, and will join the ranks of more than 72,000 men and women alumni who have attended this academy including one President of the United States, 21 members of Congress, 73 Medal of Honor recipients and two Nobel Prize winners.
