Fire breaks out in Case Springs, smoke may be visible from Fallbrook and Pendleton

A fire has broken out in the Case Springs area, with plumes of smoke being visible to residents of Fallbrook and Pendleton.
According to Camp Pendleton officials, the fire is not on base, but the wind is blowing the smoke to make it appear as if it were on base.
No structures are under threat at this time.
