9th annual Fallbrook Avocado Cribbage Tournament planned

The Fallbrook Senior Center is sponsoring the 9th Annual Fallbrook Avocado Cribbage Tournament. The tournament will be held January 23 at the Fallbrook Senior Center, 399 Heald Lane. Tournament Director Obie Weeks said that last year 73 cribbage players from all over Southern California, Las Vegas, Colorado and Missouri descended upon Fallbrook for the annual event.

The play is governed by the rules of the American Cribbage Congress. The preliminary round is 12 games against 12 different opponents. The top 25 percent will play in a playoff in the afternoon. There is a consolation tournament for those who do not make it to the playoffs.
