Senior Challenge Cribbage set for Jan. 28

The Fallbrook Senior Center and the Oceanside Senior Center are again sponsoring the monthly Senior Challenge Cribbage match. The Challenge is a seven game match with seven different opponents. Players don’t need to reside in Oceanside or Fallbrook to play.

The next match will be on January 28. The monthly matches are held at the Vista Elks Lodge 1947 E Vista Way, (760) 724-1968, beginning at 12:30 p.m.

The average number of players in the year 2009 was just over 40 per month. The first match was held in September 2001. Since then there has been over 100,000 hands of cribbage played.
