Stella Paklos

In loving memory; Stella Paklos, 85, passed away January 9, 2010. She was born October 24, 1924.

Stella was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She led an active life with a love of the water and great outdoors. She was a lifeguard during the man shortage of World War II. She taught all her children to swim and had a love of adventure. She hiked the Pacific Crest Trail and to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

She was a military wife following her husband for 20 years to many adventures throughout the U.S. before finally settling in Fallbrook, Calif. in the 1960’s when Fallbrook was a small t...
