FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce has announced it will launch its new and improved Web site in early February.
“Our current Web site needed an update to bring it into the 21st century,” said David Bergeson, interim general manager. Bergeson explained that the Chamber had been experiencing problems with updating its existing system and decided to contract with a new software development firm to upgrade its site.
“Our current system is very hard to keep up-to-date,” said Bergeson. “Making updates to chamber member information and upcoming events are extremely time-consuming tasks on our existing system; it was taking more staff time than it should. We needed to find a way to become more efficient.”
Bergeson said the decision to enter into an agreement with Complete Member Systems will result in the Chamber having a new Web site that features an easy-to-use content management system. Bergeson said the new system will allow the chamber “to assist our membership while still keeping our administrative costs to a minimum.”
The new Web site management system will also include a full QuickBooks integration and member management capability.
