Peterson, Smith named Potter Employees of the Month

FALLBROOK - Potter Junior High’s Dr. Tere Peterson, principal, and Keely Smith, school counselor, were introduced at the Rotary Club of Fallbrook’s weekly meeting as Potter Employees of the Month by Dr. Brian Jacobs, FUESD superintendent.

Fallbrook Rotary president Tom Koehler presented the duo with certificates of achievement for their individual efforts in maintaining a successful, ongoing program at Potter for student transition from elementary to the junior high, which earned the “Golden Bell Award” from the California School Board Association for “Superior” achievement.

In order to earn this award a school must maintain their performance for at least three years. The Employee of the Month recognition is part of the ongoing Rotary Club of Fallbrook program designed to recognize and encourage outstanding performance within the district’s employees.
