Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers Honored

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Hospital Auxiliary awarded pins at their latest meeting to thank their volunteers for the time they donated in various areas of hospital assistance. Auxiliary President BJ Johnson gave pins to Esther Gonsalves for 10,500 volunteer hours and to Marilyn Qualls for 12,000 hours.

Gonsalves has been the manager of the gift shop for many years with all proceeds going to our scholarship fund. Qualls is the organizer of the auxiliary’s courier service that offers rides to folks that have difficulty getting to appointments.

Honorable mention went to Lucy Taylor for 7,500 hours and to D’Ann Kubitz for 5,000 hours. Anyone interested in offering their talents (whether it be knitting baby blankets, helping at the admitting desk, working in the gift shop, etc.) can call Barbara von Nordheim at (760) 723-2662.
