A Fallbrook coffee shop was held up at gunpoint on the morning of February 1.
According to Sheriff's detective Jeff Lauhon, a white male drove up to the Java Time coffee shop building located in the 1200 block of South Mission Avenue in a white truck at approximately 9 a.m., pulled out a gun and demanded money from the cashier.
The cashier, a 24-year-old female, handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the man, who then jumped into his vehicle and sped away.
The man is described as being 5'9'' to 6' in height with short brown hair. The make and year of his white truck is unknown. And while there are no active leads on this case, Lauhon believes sufficient evidence was collected to allow for an arrest to be made. Detectives do not believe the man is the same individual who has recently held up several businesses in Fallbrook.
“We are waiting on pending lab results,” said Lauhon.
